Pilot Vanishing Point – Gun Metal & Matte Black – Medium Nib
This pen is too good looking to not do a photo post. I have already done a full review on the Matte Black Vanishing Point, so check that out for the full text. I picked up this pen body from Richard Binder’s table at the Long Island Pen Show back in March. The matte accents on the metallic dark grey body are a killer color combination. It might even be above the all matte black stealth version for me. Vanishing Points are great pens, that are super convenient, and ready to go at a moment’s notice. Thank you for reading, and enjoy the pictures!

You know when I first saw this colour combo I wasn’t wowed. In fact I was at the complete opposite end, I almost detested it. Now, well, it’s grown on me, a lot. Not sure why though. I’d have to get it with a black nib though 🙂
I’m not a huge fan of the silver and gold accents on the VPs. I think it’s just a bit too much. The gunmetal finish is much more durable than the matte, which is also nice. The pen was kind of an impulse buy (like pretty much everything else) from Richard Binder’s table at the Long Island Pen Show.
I WISH the black nibs were out when I was in the market, I would definitely have gotten those instead.
