  1. I’m very tempted to just go ahead and buy this notebook based on the information in the review. But, I’ll wait to see if the remote chance of winning a pair happens first. –Bill

  2. I’ve used Tomoe River in stationery but never a notebook. Maybe one of these smaller notebooks will help me decide whether to make the jump for my next A5.

  3. Tomoe river is my favorite all the way. I’m not as big a fan of it in pocket notebooks but I’m happy to have this change my mind.

  4. I haven’t had the pleasure of using Tomoe River paper, but my current favorite paper is Leuchtturm1917.

  5. I really love Tomoe River paper…it feels magical to the touch and handles most inks delightfully. It is a bit sheer so I usually only use one side.

  6. Love Tomoe River paper for my letter writing but my favourite journals are by Citrus Book Bindery. Not sure what paper they use but they have a 120gsm, 140gsm, and a 220gsm watercolour paper ☺️

  8. I accidentally happened onto Tomoe River when i ordered my new planner. I have fallen in love. It’s the best I’ve ever used.

  9. I’ve really been enjoying the couple of pocket Tomoe River notebooks I picked up from Birmingham pen co. Simple notebooks but the paper has been great for sheening inks. Definitely feels like a step up from Rhodia.

  10. This Pebble Stationery Co. pocket notebook is beautiful – Dot Grid paper 52GSM is one of my favorite papers.

  11. I write best on 52 GSM Tomoe River Paper with fountain pens. So I look at every possible notebook I can get. This looks great and very well put together.

  12. Thanks for the giveaway edjelly and Pebble Stationery Co! I really like Tomoe River paper and the size is just right for portability in small purse or pocket.

  13. In my experience, Tomoe River changes everything – suddenly the beautiful colours of inks show up! I’m looking forward to getting my hands on some of these notebooks.

  14. I know there are other good papers out there but once I tried Tomoe River it bacame my favorite and I use it almost exclusively. I even bought a ream from Nanami to make my own amateur pads and notebooks.

  15. Thanks for the giveaway. Tomoe River Paper is my favourite for journals, letters, and any size notebook. Love how ink sheens and watercolour puddles on it.

  16. My favorite paper is Tomoe River paper! So I think I’d love these notebooks. I use a Hobo and love how it takes fountain pen.

  17. My favorite paper is my Staples graph composition book paper. It’s smooth. It’s inexpensive. It does bleed like crazy though so I only use one side but I often just use one side anyway.
