  1. I’d like to hear about your experiences with custom grinds by nibmeisters. Not necessarily a review per se, because it sounds a little rude to review a person, but more of a testimonial with some backstory, before/after writing samples, before/after photos of the nib, etc.

  2. How about reviewing some of the inks from Birmingham Pens (or possibly the Model-A pens that he’s been making)

  3. I would love to see reviews/trip reports of cool pen/paper stores around the world. This also gives you a reason to go on trips to support your blog! WE BOTH WIN!

  4. I’d love to see a review of some of the inexpensive knockoffs that are floating around. Maybe a compare contrast to the things that they’re copying… part of me doesn’t think that calling attention to them is a great thing, but for folks who can’t drop money into pens but are interested I think they’re a valuable option to learn about what’s out there.

  5. While you’re on the subject of inexpensive steel-nib Japanese pens, it would be interesting to see a review of one of the Sailor steel-nib pens that the Pilot Explorer competes with in the Japanese market – I’m thinking specifically of the Sailor Lecoule.

  6. I would really like to see a review of the 100th Anniversary Iroshizuku inks when they finally hit the shelves. That would be great.

  7. I love the looks of this pen.
–Sorry I cannot be creative today. I have a sleeping cat on my lap. I need a cup of tea. I don’t want to disturb her as I have been away for work and this is the first time in the four days I have been home that she has shown ant interest in me except to flick her tail. My parched throat is all I can think about.

  8. Thank you for the opportunity to try and win a Pilot Explorer. I consider myself new to using fountain pens but have read about for many years.

  9. Big fan of Field Notes memo books! Would love any details about different inks and how they perform on their typical paperstock (eg. Finch 60#T, etc).

  10. I’d like to see the Wing Sung 601 compared to the Parker “51” or the Moonman M2 vs. the Franklin-Christoph Model 66.

  11. Thanks for your wonderful work. I’d like to see reviews in which popular ink colors go head-to-head. For instance Diamone Ancient Copper vs similar colors from other manufacturers
