Dudek Modern Goods “The Stationer” Pen Stand
What is it: A pen stand, handmade by a friendly guy named Mike Dudek. This particular flavor holds a notebook and 7 pens. It’s been living on my desk at work, and it’s really happy at its new home. Together with Dudek Modern Goods, we are giving away a brand new stand. Read the review and check out how to enter at the bottom of this post!
Where you can get it: Want to guarantee holiday delivery? You can snag one of these stands right now over at Dudek Modern Goods for $69. Save an additional 10% on your order using the code “EDSENTME”.
Notes: I’m always impressed by Mike’s work. The finishing is great, the holes are precisely drilled, and the designs just plain work. The Stationer is no exception. It holds 7 pens or pencils and a notebook. It’s ideal for a desk, as it keeps pens neatly organized and a notebook out of the way until it’s needed. The notebook makes a great backdrop for the pens being displayed too. Each block is crafted from walnut wood and lightly finished. This keeps the woodgrain and natural beauty front and center.
The bottom of the block has felt feet and the DMG logo burned into the bottom. The piece really adds some class to a desk and fits in well with both modern and traditional decor. I’m happy to have one on my desk, and you will be too!

Disclaimer: Oh my goodness, how did I forget a disclaimer!? I’m not making money off this, and Mike at DMG is giving this away for free. He’s a good dude. His last name is Dudek. Coincidence? I think not. Yes, I got to keep one for my desk, and to take photos of but let’s be real, this is more of a giveaway than a review.

I like “the groove” )
The cube.
The Workspace is my favorite Dudek piece….Holds a lot of pens , 2 bottles of ink and some note books or 3 x 5 cards…..seems perfect!
It’s the Cube. Simply beautiful, beautifully simple
I really like The Workspace
The Planter looks pretty cool! ( brianwg@mts.net)
I like The Planter.
I’d have to go with the Groove, but it’s a tough choice.
I like the groove
The Block, ofcourse. It’s a blunt statement of believes.
The display
I’ve gotta go with the Display, ut if I win the Stationer it will mostly likely move to the top. Thanks for the giveaway!
The Display, but The Stationer would be a close second
The Stationer would be my choice, so would love to win this!
The Divide.
I like The Display. Reminds me of a test tube rack 🙂
The Groove
Great giveaway! I’d have to say simple is my favorite: The Cube. But I think the Stationer would be a great first foray into Dudek’s products!
I’m a fan of The Daily, but The Stationer looks like a nice size upgrade to it.
Hmmm … it’s difficult to pick just one fave from Dudek – there are so many good choices! The Daily would probably be my choice, but there are certainly no bad options!
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
My favorite piece is the Planter.
This looks very nice; thanks for the opportunity. I own a Block and Idea Dock; I’ve had my eye on the Planter, but as a notebook user this one might be a new favorite.
Dudek’s products are excellent and fairly priced. Keep up the good work.
It’s between the stationer and the Groove for me. I would love to win this one!
Thanks for doing this. I have a Block which is fantastic
my fave is the cube 🙂
The Sprout for sure!
I always like the look of the Display.
I think “The Sprout” would have to be my favorite. I can just picture it sitting on my desk.
I’d have to say my favourite Dudek piece would be the Planter.
My favorite is the Dudek and Karas Kustoms Cube collaboration.
I’ll have a hard time deciding between the Stationer and the Cube, but I think I prefer the Cube for symmetry reasons.
I think I prefer the Cube out of symmetry reasons.
The simplicity of the block is best, though blue anodized aluminium rather than walnut for me.
Display is probably my favourite … I want to see the pens. That said, the Planter is pretty novel and would be a nice addition to my devoid-of-greenery desk.
For home I would definitely love o have a large ‘Block’ (I have many pens), however for the office I would prefer ‘The groove’ – it looks classy!
Thanks for this very elegant giveaway.
I like The Block.
My favorite is the cube
The cube, the problem is to choose the prns that go in it
I like the display
The workspace is incredible. Craftsmanship and minimalist design like that can bring your entire desk together!
It is hard to choose a favorite, it is a toss up between the cube or the planter.
The cube!
The daily is at the top of my list.
I’ve always like The Cube, but now I’m thinking The Stationer is my favorite!
My favorite is the one he hasn’t yet created: the planter with a notebook slot. Relegated to things that actually exist, If pick the stationer (with the sprout next to it).
I like the Stationer. Most of the use of my fountain pens is with my journal.
Oh boy! Just pick one? I guess the Display has always had a bit more pull on me than the others.
I have The Block, The Display and The Morse. The Morse is my favorite due to the uniqueness of it.
I really like the simplicity of the cube, but since I’ve moved to using thicker A5 journals almost exclusively, I suspect this one might be my new favorite. I’d love to find out for the low, low price of free!
